Auditions will be by appointment only. Please
email us at auditions@scottsdalemusicaltheater.com to schedule your audition time. Audition times will be assigned every 5 minutes. If available, please attach a picture and resume with your email request. You may request a time frame and we will confirm back via email your exact audition time as close to your request as possible.
SCHEDULE AN AUDITION TIME
Please prepare 16 bars of an upbeat and 16 bars of a ballad, with sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. No taped music will be allowed. Please do not sing material from any of our upcoming shows. Any performer wishing to be considered for a lead or supporting role will need to do a monologue, not to exceed 1 minute.
There will be a general dance audition on Monday June 17th at 6pm for children and 7pm for adults. Given our season, there are only a few roles that will not require dancing of any kind. Please make sure you are able to attend this dance call. We will advise you at your singing audition if you do not need to attend the dance audition.
Not being asked to attend the dance call will not mean you are not being considered for any specific role in any of the shows. It will just mean that what you are being considered for does not require us to see you dance.
