Performer Bios

Nicole Bond - Nicki is thrilled to be back performing. SMTC performance highlights includes: My Fair Lady, Sondheim on Sondheim, Fiddler on the Roof, Hello Dolly!Gypsy!, A Christmas Carol. Other performances around the valley include Sweeney Todd, The Addams Family.

Taylor Hogan - Taylor is overjoyed and grateful to be back on stage. Currently, she is a full time K-8th grade music teacher in addition to teaching private piano and voice lessons. She graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting, Summa Cum Laude. Previous roles include: Audrey (Leading Ladies/Desert Foothills Theater), Ensemble (42nd Street, West Side Story/ Scottsdale Musical Theater Company), Ross/Third Witch (Macbeth/Class 6 Theatre), Patricia (The Taming/Class 6 Theatre), Third Woman (Metamorphoses/OKCU). To continue her growth as an artist, Taylor recently participated in a week-long vocal intensive through Empower Voices Now, founded and taught by Raquel Suarez Groen (Broadway's Carlotta Giudicelli in " Phantom of the Opera") and psychotherapist and yoga/meditation instructor, Dana Guerrero. Taylor sang in masterclasses coached by Steven Lutvak (Tony award winning composer and producer of "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder") and Ben Crawford (The Phantom in "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway). In the valley Taylor works with voice teacher Melissa Black.  Taylor would like to thank her husband, family, and friends for their constant love and encouragement.

Matt Newhard - Matt is a 3rd generation Arizona native and has performed in over 50 shows across the valley, as well as an appearance at Carnegie Hall in New York. He is proud to have been associated with this company since its inception. Most recently for SMTC, he was seen as The Padre in Man of La Mancha and Trevor Graydon in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Estrella Paloma Para - Estrella is thrilled to be performing again! She was last seen in Man of La Mancha (Housekeeper) with SMTC. Previous credits: South Pacific (Bloody Mary) at Herberger Theatre Center, The King and I (Royal Wife) at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof (Fruma Sarah) at Hale Center Theatre. Josh Pike - Josh is an alumni of Arizona Conservatory for Arts and Academics where he studied voice and musical theater. His most recent roles include Marius in Les Miserable (NYA nom), Lefou in Beauty and the Beast (AriZoni nom), and Dickon in Secret Garden (NYA nom). He has been acting and singing around the valley since he was 6 years old. In 2018, he received an NYA award for Jr Artist of the Year for his roles in Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Zebulon), Annie Jr. (Rooster), Aladdin Jr (Aladdin), Seussical (Jojo), and TLTW&TW (Tumnus). He is so happy to be back performing and is grateful for the opportunity!

Adrian Ward, Jr. - Adrian was born and raised in Memphis, TN and moved to Arizona in 2012. He graduated form the University of Tennessee with a BFA and concentration in Theatre. He has experience with stage combat in addition to his singing and dancing talents. Recently he's been developing the Drama ministry with his church.  After this year long covid delay, Adrian is excited to finally be performing again!
