In moving forward, Scottsdale Center for the Arts’ guidelines for public safety in response to Covid-19 will include the following as part of their reopening plan:
– Theaters, bathrooms and high-touch areas cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.

– Customer service counters including bar, box office and retail spaces taking additional sanitary and safety precautions.

– Non-touch ticket scanning will be implemented.

– Event programs will be one use, throw away programs.

– Staff, volunteers and all visitors within the indoor buildings required to wear masks. (ADA accommodations allowed) Visitors will be provided masks upon entry as needed.

– Hand sanitizer stations available throughout public spaces.

– Seating options in theaters physically spaced (with varying sized seating groups available) and distancing relaxed as criteria is met according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

– Staggered seating protocols to maintain social distancing when entering and exiting theaters.

– All events will have a "no intermission" policy to avoid heavy concentration of visitors in the public bathrooms all at once. 

SMTC is proud to present the classic Broadway musical Camelot starring TV icon Charles Shaughnessy (The Nanny, Days of Our Lives, The Magicians) as King Arthur. Camelot is Lerner and Loewe’s most majestic masterpiece, retelling the tale of King Arthur, Guenevere, Sir Lancelot, and the Knights of the Round Table. The rich score has lasted through time with beloved songs such as “If Ever I would Leave You,” “C’est Moi,” “How to Handle a Woman,” “The Lusty Month of May,” and, of course “Camelot.”

Professor Harold Hill might be one of the most iconic characters in Broadway history and The Music Man is one of Broadway's most beloved musicals of all time. As American as apple pie, The Music Man will take you back to a more nostalgic time of community, family and falling in love. "Ya Got Trouble", "Seventy-Six Trombones", "My White Knight", "Wells Fargo Wagon", "Shipoopi", "Lida Rose", "Till There was You" - you can sing along with the entire score.
